What is a backsplash?
It's the protective wall between the worktop and the cabinets, usually by the sink and hob. It can be finished in microcement to visually connect the kitchen surfaces.
Can I cover an existing worktop?
We start by assessing the material, stability and condition of the worktop. When the substrate is suitable, it may be possible to keep the existing surface. Photos and measurements help with the first assessment.
Can I renovate just the counter or the backsplash?
Yes. We can plan work on a single surface or a set including worktop, island, walls and floor. The quote follows what you want to transform.
How should I care for the worktop?
Use a soft cloth and neutral cleaning products, and wipe up spills quickly. Use a chopping board and trivets for very hot pans. Protection and care depend on the system applied.
How much does it cost and when can I use the kitchen?
Price and timing depend on the measurements, substrate, surfaces and finish. Before the work starts, we agree with you the preparation and the drying and curing times needed.
